Is this a real phone call?
It's a real-time voice conversation in your browser — you talk, it talks back, ~half-second responses. Phone-number calls are on the roadmap.
What happens to my recordings and data?
Sessions are transcribed so your assistant can remember. Your data powers your memory and nothing else — it's never sold and never used to train models. Export or delete everything, any time, from settings.
Why voice instead of another chat window?
Typing produces curated status updates. Speaking surfaces what's actually going on — and research shows we treat a voice as someone, not something. Accountability only works when it's someone.
What if I miss a session?
Nothing punitive. The next call picks up exactly where you left off. Your score reflects follow-through on commitments, not attendance streaks.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no contracts, cancel in-app. Paid plans are priced per seat and you change the seat count in the product; the free minutes never ask for a card.
What does the AI not do?
It won't run your business, send emails on your behalf, or replace therapy. It thinks with you, keeps the plan honest, and makes sure the week ends with the things you said mattered — done.
Can an AI really hold me accountable?
Not the way a boss can — nothing stops you from skipping the hard thing. What it does is make skipping visible. Calls open with what's late and what you said you'd do. Move the same deadline twice and it names the pattern. Your score weighs what shipped on time, not how often you showed up, and if you turn on texts it nudges you the day something's due. That's the weekly report from the study above, told to someone who remembers.
It's new. What if something breaks?
It's young, and it's run by the founder who built it. If a call drops after the first half-minute, what you covered still lands — tasks, recap, and memory come from the transcript — and you can start a new session right away (it uses one of your daily starts). Calls under 15 seconds are never charged. There's no uptime guarantee during the beta; if something breaks, write to contact@phntm.app.
